7 Mile Bridge Run Information
7 Mile Bridge Run is on Saturday April 25, 2009. There is no sure way to get in, except to have your entry form back to the Marathon Post office by two days after the registration forms are sent out.
The race is run by the Marathon Runners club a small group of individuals who put this event together for the local youth organizations.
I call it a mail lottery, you mail in a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope, and about the last week in Feb. They mailed out all the applications on Monday this year, and the race closed early Thursday. The first 1500 back to the Marathon post office box are in. Many out of town and state clubs have taken to sending a prepaid fed ex or express Mail, envelope to get applications ASAP.

I have found that if I get my application in the Mail on the day I get it I have no problem getting in.
